The Central Ohio Chapter held its annual meeting Wednesday, April 25 at the Biomedical Research Tower, 460 W. 12th Avenue, Columbus, OH on The Ohio State University campus. The evening began with a Grass Traveling Lecture by Dr. Randy Blakely on the roles of serotonin and dopamine transporters in neuropsychiatric disorders. A reception and poster session followed the lecture. Postdoctoral researchers and graduate students presented their posters on research topics ranging from axonal transport to cell death. The lecture, reception, and poster session were open to chapter members and the university community.

The annual Central Ohio Chapter meeting was held at the Blackwell Inn on The Ohio State University Campus. The evening began with a Grass Traveling Lecture by Dr. Mark Tuszynski on Neurotrophin Modulation of Plasticity in the Adult CNS. A reception and poster presentation followed the lecture. Faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students presented their posters on research topics ranging from axonal transport to cell death. The lecture, reception, and poster presentation were open to chapter members as well as anyone interested in attending. After the poster presentation, chapter members enjoyed a sit-down dinner provided by the Blackwell. The last event of the evening was the chapter meeting.
